Tuescher San Francisco – Our Story

More than 80 years ago in a small town in the Swiss Alps, a master chocolate maker embarked on a path that would make him one of the world’s greatest chocolatiers, and thus begins our story. Dolf Teuscher searched throughout the world to locate the finest cocoa, marzipan, fruits, nuts, and other ingredients, and, after years of experimenting, skillfully blended them into our now-famous recipes. From humble origins, our kitchens in Zürich today make more than one hundred varieties of chocolate using these original recipes that have passed from father to son. We like to think our story evolved into making us one of the best chocolate brands in the world.

The Factory

Each batch of Teuscher Chocolate is made in Switzerland daily. It is flown weekly to shops all over the world. Our main factory is located in Dübendorf, Switzerland.

Style & Quality

Teuscher is considered one of the finest chocolates in the world because of the quality of our ingredients, as well as the integrity of our production. There are no additives, chemicals, or fillers used, and all chocolates are made with fair trade beans. We use the finest ingredients available: almonds from Spain; champagne from France; macadamia nuts from Costa Rica; hazelnuts, cherries, oranges, lemons from Sicily; and grapes from Greece.
